Il Team Salomon cala i suoi assi alla Limone Extreme con le super performance di Kilian Jornet & Stevie Kremer. Per loro successo di tappa e primo posto finale nel circuito World Series 2013. Se il fenomeno catalano non è però riuscito ad abbassare il record di Marco De Gasperi, la campionessa che viene d'oltreoceano ha letteralmente polverizzato il best time 2011 di Deborah Cardone.

Pubblico delle grandi occasioni e numeri da capogiro per la finlissima della Skyrunner World Series . La competizione di Limone sul Garda, con i suoi 23.5km di sviluppo (2000m di dislivello positivo), ha richiamato ai nastri di partenza 437 corridori del cielo. Tra loro il gotha mondiale della specialità e tanti tantissimi appassionati che non hanno voluto perdere l'occasione di correre al fianco dei campioni. 

Nella prima impegnativa ascesa Aritz Egea ha impresso un forcing irresistibile ai più portandosi in fuga Kilian Jornet e David Schneider. 4° Thorbjorn Ludvigsen e Ionut Zinca. Primo italiano Matteo Piller Hofer. A femminile Antonella Confortola guida la gara su Stevie Kremer e Emelie Forsberg.

Al GPM di Cima Carone, nessun cambio al vertice. A condurre la gara ancora il terzetto composto da Aritz Egea, Kilian Jornet e David Schneider. 4° Ionut Zinca. Seguono Marc Pinsach, Thorbjorn Ludvigsen e Gregory Vollet. Nella gara in rosa una scatenata Stevie Kremer ha innestato le ridotte transitando a Cima carona con 2' su una grandissima Antenella Confortola. Terza posizione, con un gap di ben8', per Leire Aguirrezzabala. 10' il ritardo di una Emelie Forsberg (4ª) in netta difficoltà.

Mentre ad intrattenere il pubblico presente nella suggestiva location di Lungolago Marconi ci pensavano il re della slackline Lukas Huber e il campione di bike trial Andrea Maranelli, la gara  in quota è entrata nel vivo. Nei duri saliscendi che anticipano la picchiata finale verso il traguardo, Kilian Jornet ha infatti messo la freccia e progressivamente stacato i diretti avversari. Per lui 50m di vantaggio su Aritz Egea. Seguono David Schneider e Ionut Zinca.

Tra due ali di folla il re dello skyrunning è stato accolto con tutti gli onori dopo  2h17'05" di cavalcata trionfale. Seconda posizione per uno Ionut Zinca autore di una spettacolare rimonta. Terza piazza per un grande Aritz Egea.  Al femminile,  tutto come da copione con Stevie Kremer che vince gara e titolo in 2h46'13" davanti all'azzurra Antonella Confortola e alla svedese Emelie Forsberg.

Per quanto riguarda il circuito di Coppa, le World Series 2013 nella specialità SkyRace, oltre ad incoronare l'americana Kremer e lo spagnolo jornt hanno visto aggiudicarsi la medaglia d'argento Luis Alberto Hernando (Spagna) ed Emlie Forsberg (Svezia). Quellla di bronzo, invece, è andata al collo dell'americano Alex Nichols e dell'itliana Silvia Serafini.

At GPM Top Carone , no change at the top . Leading the race even the trio of Aritz Egea, Kilian Jornet and David Schneider . 4th Ionut Zinca . Follow Marc Pinsach , Thorbjorn Ludvigsen and Gregory Vollet . In the race for rosa Stevie Kremer geared to passing the small carona Top with 2 ' of a great Antenella Confortola . Third position, with a gap of  8 ' , for Leire Aguirrezzabala . 10 ' the delay of a Emelie Forsberg (4th ) in clear difficulty . While entertaining the audience in the picturesque location of the lake promenade we thought the king of slackline Lukas Huber and bike trial champion Andrea Maranelli , the race came alive in earnest at high altitude . In the hard ups and downs that anticipate the final beat to the finish line , Kilian Jornet has in fact put the arrow and progressively detached the rivals . For him 50m ahead of Aritz Egea . David Schneider and follow Ionut Zinca . Between two wings  the king of skyrunning was received from the crowd with all the honors after 2h17'05 " of a triumphant ride .

Second place for one Ionut Zinca author of a spectacular comeback. Third place for a great Aritz Egea. The feminine, as everything from the script with Stevie Kremer who wins race and title in 2h46'13 "in front of "The Blue" Antonella Confortola and the Swedish Emelie Forsberg. Regarding the Cup circuit, the World Series in 2013 SkyRace specialties, the crowns goes the the american Kremer and Spanish jornt , the silver to medal Luis Alberto Hernando (Spain) and Emlie Forsberg (Sweden). The bronze instead, went to the neck of the American Alex Nichols and the italian Silvia Serafini.
